My sister’s chat about admiring but not buying at the second-hand stores didn’t work. I totally appreciate her suggestions, but as you likely know, addictions are hard to conquer and I’m not ready to go to Junk Store Rehab, yet.
I went searching for some buttons to go on my new neck warmers that I learned to make with Glenda last weekend.
Now the buttons adorn my new felted neck warmer. The fabric came from a United Colors of Benetton mohair sweater that I felted, cut, and blanket stitched.
To felt a sweater, just add a very large wool sweater to hot, hot water, add soap, agitate aggressively, and rinse in cold water. Dry and cut. That’s it.
